After many years of hiring delivery trucks, we’ve decided that it’s time to buy our own truck. This will streamline our process to get mama kits and diaper sets into the hands of the mamas that need them most. We send out supplies to our partners to every corner of Uganda. We’ve shipped them on buses, hired delivery trucks, and even put them on the back of motorcycle taxis. We feel like having our own delivery truck will help to cut down on delivery costs and will allow us to get the deliveries made safer and faster. A reliable vehicle will also allow our Country Coordinator Billy to be able to safely visit our partners on a more regular basis. These visits are crucial as we scope out new partnerships, check on existing partners, and organize and lead health outreach events.
